If you are painting your house the same color, no approval from the Board is needed.

Changes in Body and/or trim color require approval.

Present a 2"x2" sample board of the new body color to a Board member for approval at our next Board meeting (meetings are the first Tuesday of every month).

Any changes to the exterior of your home need to be approved, whether it's paint, brick, stone, stucco, deck/porch, siding material and/or roof color.

Any type of fence needs approval prior to installation by the Association Board.

Seasonal garden fencing may be permitted as long as it does not detract from the overall appearance of the neighborhood.

Replacement of landscape rock, dead trees, shrubs, flowers, or other similar landscaping plants with the same replacement do not require approval of the Association.

Any changes in the landscaping require approval before the project begins.

This includes new garden areas, different varieties of trees, shrubs, or flowers, or ornamentation like arbors.

Some homes in our neighborhood are in designated flood plane zones. Affected homeowners can appeal this designation by contacting the City of Brooklyn Park.
